Main Shrine

The Main Shrine is the most important place in any Buddhist monastery because most formal religious services are conducted here. Known also as the “Precious Hall of the Great Hero”, it is dedicated to Sakyamuni Buddha, who possessed the heroic qualities of unsurpassed wisdom, virtue, compassion, and the power to subdue evils, thus saving all sentient beings from ignorance and afflictions, Devotees come here to honor the Buddha and to see their spiritual home.  In Fo Guang Buddhist Temple Boston, the main shrine has Three Buddha.

Water Drop Tea House

FGBTB Water Drop Teahouse serves as a resting place for members, devotees and friends. The origin of the name is based on the generous mindset of our founder, Venerable Master Hsing Yun, who vows to “repay a drop of water’s worth of kindness with a gushing spring”. Only a grateful life can become a rich life.  The Water Drop Teahouse is the perfect place for sipping a cup of Herb Flower tea, eating simple vegetarian snacks and listen to soft music to relax our body and mind after a busy day. We can attain peace of mind or a spiritual awakening through the experience in the teahouse.
